Special Order Policy
Special Order Policy (for items not in stock, or special requests)
Although Higuera Hardwoods is known for keeping a large inventory's and having continual container shipments arriving, we will occasionally be sold out on some items. We would always like to encourage our customers to please inform our staff as to what your desires are. If you would like the item solely reserved for you, then we will require payment on the item. We do however offer a 30 day unconditional return policy (except shipping charges). We like to offer this service to our customers as we understand that you may often feel more comfortable seeing the item before committing to the purchase, we will make every effort within our control to honor our customer's requests. Please feel free to contact us to make any requests, we will investigate the request and respond back to you as soon as we can to inform you of the time required and other issues which may be involved.
We have no problem with the smallest request and will work to satisfy you if possible.

Lead-time on Special Orders:
As all our special orders must be filled by our manufacture, please expect to wait one to two months for your individual requests to be completed. If we do not deliver within the written delivery date on your invoice you will not be responsible for the purchase, unless you would like to proceed with the order.
When your order has arrived, we will notify you, inspect it and prepare it for pick up or delivery then contact you to confirm your availability for receipt of the shipment or pickup.
Return Policy
No items will be accepted back without prior Return Authorization. Please obtain a Return Authorization by calling or emailing us before returning ANY merchandise. Please return all materials in original NEW condition and original packing to avoid damage and to receive a full Product refund. If the product was on a free shipping promotion, the purchase price of the product less the shipping charges incurred will be refunded. No returns will be authorized beyond thirty (30) days after receipt of merchandise. After 30 days the item will be treated as under Warranty. No returns will be authorized for permanently assembled items. We do have 15% restocking charge for any products which are not damaged or defective.
In the event of a return please:

- Pack product as you received it (on a pallet, if shipped on a pallet). This is so that the product does not get damaged in shipment.
- Send package back with shipper prepaid, just as you would with a catalog apparel retailer when the product did not fit you just right.
- Credit for purchase price of product will be given when received, inspected for damage, use etc, and processed.

Privacy Policy
When you place an order with us, we request your name, billing address, shipping address, credit card number and expiration date, and email address. We consider this information to be private/confidential, and we only keep your credit card information long enough to complete your transactions. We use a fully encrypted SSL web server for all of your transactions with Higuera Hardwoods LLC. Please ensure your web page shows the lock Icon in the lower right hand corner or upper right corner when you are on the final check out pages to ensure there are no server problems. Any information you provide to Higuera Hardwoods will be kept by in complete confidence. We will not share any information with anyone, under any circumstances.

The communication of your credit card and other personal information with us are secured and encrypted using the latest technologies and industry standards. You can be assured that the information you are passing to us will be secure during its transmission and after its receipt by us. Ordering Information

Your order will be shipped within two to three business days or we will advise you if there are circumstances that will delay us from completing this obligation.
Merchandise can be returned exchanged for 30 days from time of purchase with original packing and receipt, after 30 days we will exchange or refund merchandise for credit only. Return shipping for damaged items is Higuera Hardwoods responsibility; otherwise customer pays the return shipping costs.
Shipping Instructions, Returns
This information covers shipping instructions for all our products
SHIPPING is through common carrier for larger shipments Conway trucking or FedEx freight are utilized, for smaller items we use FedEx. Shipping rates are for the continental United States only. Please call us for overseas shipments, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska and Canada.
All items are shipped FOB Poulsbo, Washington USA. You are responsible for receiving the shipment. If the carrier cannot make contact with you, the shipping liability is yours, since the shipping organization has performed their service (of getting the goods to you). If you need special arrangements please contact us or the shipping organization to try and accommodate your requirements.
RECEIVED DAMAGED
PLEASE NOTE ALL DAMAGE IMMEDIATELY, AND REPORT IT TO Higuera Hardwoods immediately... If you are returning merchandise that was received damaged, you must notify Higuera Hardwoods within 2 days of receiving your damaged items so that a claim may be filed.
MISSING ITEMS
You must notify Higuera Hardwoods within 2 days of receiving your items to report anything missing.
ALWAYS PLEASE SIGN THE RECEIPT "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION FOR CONCEALED DAMAGE".
Higuera Hardwoods will first try to repair or replace the damaged merchandise. If that is not possible due to lack of stock, an appropriate refund or adjustment can be made.
BACKORDERS
If an item is not in stock, we will notify you immediately. All Back Orders are kept open and shipped unless expressly cancelled by the customer.
